Noorbaiti Safian brings over 24 years of diverse experience at PETRONAS, spanning IT, Portfolio Management & Strategic Planning, Group Internal Audit, and Data Management. Currently, she serves as the General Manager of Data at Upstream Technology, Digital & Innovation. In this role, she is responsible for shaping, strategizing, and steering Data Governance and Data Management throughout the Data Lifecycle in PETRONAS Upstream Division, covering the Life of Field from Exploration to Abandonment. Her efforts ensure that data is made available, accessible, and trusted.

Additionally, she is instrumental in strengthening the National Data Repository's position in Malaysia's Oil & Gas sector by fostering strong collaborations with Operators, Government Agencies, and Academia. She also leads the Upstream Data Culture Program, which aims to shape behaviors and beliefs that value, practice, and encourage good data practices across Upstream, aligning with PETRONAS's Digital Agenda towards becoming a Data-Driven Organization.

Noorbaiti holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from The George Washington University, USA, and possesses a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification issued by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
