Bio
Craig was born in a quaint fishing village on the banks of the Clyde .. Clydebank, where he started his career as an Apprentice Mechnical Technical on GE Frame Gas Turbines..
For the last 40 years, Craig has developed his project delivery skills primarily in the O&G and Petrochemical Industries. Craig started his career working in the UK North Sea on Modification and Hook up projects with AOC before then moved to Australia, Malaysia and Singapore in various senior Project and Operational managemment roles for KBR.
In 2002, Craig moved to the Middle east for the next 20 years, initially as an Operations Director for KBR production services with a focus on growing contracts across various countries. Craig then joined AMEC as EVP for the Middle east and Africa, where he supported the engineering and PMC growth across the region. In 2012, Craig Joined Petrofac as the MD for Engineering and production services, where he had responsibility for the delivery of the Engineering operations in india peaking at 3500 personnel. Craig also led the Petrofacs focus on EPCm and was a key player in working with AVEVA on the practical deployment in major projects with PDO in Oman. Craig completed his O&G career with SNC lavalin where he was the President of O&G and Mining & Metals through to 2021.
In 2022 Craig Joined Highview Power as COO, a Renewable company looking to move from Technology development into becoming a major player in the delivery and ownership of Long Duration Liquid Air Energy Storage assets (LAES). Since joining Craig has developed a Project delivery capability within the company through EPCm to Operations.. Highview Power rasied £300m in June 2024 to enable them to Build a 300MW storage / 50 MW discharge Asset in Carrington, UK..
