Nuno holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia of Universidade Nova de Lisboa with 21 years of diversified experiences in a Petrochemical and Refinery Units. He spent 11 years working as local Optimization Engineer in Repsol Petrochemical Site in Sines, Portugal. Since the end of 2013 he is working in the Optimization and Control Headquarter's Department (Madrid), as Senior Optimization and Control Engineer. His experience covers several technical topics: Advanced Process Control (DMCs & RTOs), DCS and Safety PLCs, Process On-line Monitoring (Plant Information) and Alarm Management.
