Curt Hertler is a Principal Pre-Sales Engineer at AVEVA. Curt has nineteen years experience in the petroleum refining industry focused on projects involving process modelling and optimization. As he digitally transformed, Curt helped establish and lead a global PI practice within a major international oil company for promotion, implementation, and support of PI Systems worldwide. Since joining OSIsoft, now AVEVA, he has had various roles, all designed to help customer gain a better understanding of the value of their PI Systems. One of his most significant accomplishments was the establishment a the OSIsoft s Developers Network in 1999, which might have been the world s first app store.
