As VP IT & OT at Vianode, I lead the IT and OT strategy and implementation for a leading solutions provider to the fast-growing battery industry. I have 25 years of work experience in the IT sector, and I am passionate about creating innovative and sustainable solutions that enhance the performance and value of our products and services. I have a strong background in process improvement, IT management, change management, IT/OT convergence, process automation and digital transformation. In my previous role as Digitalization and IT Director at Elkem ASA, Silicon Products, I was responsible for leading the digitalization, industrial automation and IT strategy for 11 business units in 15 countries. I worked with a cross-functional team to implement and oversee digital initiatives that improved efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Some of the projects that I contributed to include developing a digital platform for data integration and analysis, implementation of Infor M3 ERP throughout all business units in the division, automating key business processes through implementing AVEVA MES, and enhancing the security and reliability of the IT infrastructure. I also serve as a council member at Bremanger Municipality, where I advocate for the interests and needs of the local community.
