Process Engineer Professional

In 2017 Maura Malgaretti joined A2A, one of Italy’s largest utilities, in the branch managing integrated water cycle’s infrastructures, A2A Ciclo Idrico.

In A2A Ciclo Idrico she is part of the wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) management department. The team mange over 50 plants with the aim of guarantee effluent quality and optimizing treatment efficiency.

Over his career in A2a Ciclo Idrico he has developed a significant expertise in wastewater treatment plants conduction. Her tasks include process data analysis, digitalization and process modeling and studying of new technologies. She works on OSIsoft PI system implementation in WWTPs since 2019.

She holds a PhD’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Strathclyde University of Glasgow (UK).
