Deliverables Management: We will illustrate how the Aras digital thread backbone supports AVEVA’s Deliverables Management ALM Application. The DM Application supports a data-centric digital thread that manages the evolution of design data with all the associated documents across the lifecycle of assets. 

Modular Design, Digital Twins, and Advanced Decision Making: Modular design principles can significantly increase the reuse of previously designed components and subsystems. The ALM platform is designed for a data-centric approach, which manages the asset data and relationships, including documents, across its lifecycle. We will discuss how it supports the creation and management of a digital thread which captures the evolution of all asset data from birth to operations to disposal. It can also support libraries of modular components for reuse in multiple physical assets. System engineering (MBSE) and variability management principles are at the core of modularity in product / asset design.  

Combining Product, Manufacturing, and Operations Data in Process Industries: Aras will present our point-of-view on the joint efforts to connect R&D, Collaboration and Manufacturing Planning opportunities with Aras Innovator to AVEVA’s non-plant (non-Engineering) customer base – PI System and MES customers in industries such as pharma, food and beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), semiconductors, metal processing and textiles.
