A programme to replace Thames’ various legacy systems was deployed across 50 sites using the AVEVA System Platform product. It employed a templated / standardised approach and was scaled to fit systems of varying size. In addition, Thames’ internal governing SCADA standards were updated and adopted throughout delivery on the new systems. This approach aimed at providing consistent database construction and visualisation across the estate.
