“North London Heat and Power”

The project was initiated to create a cutting-edge, sustainable hub that replaces the existing energy-from-waste plant while offering flagship recycling facilities for North London’s residents.

In addition to tackling the climate emergency and reducing reliance on landfill, the project includes the development of the EcoPark and the construction of the greenest Energy Recovery Facility in the UK. A key element of the project is the integration of digital technologies, including AVEVA's Unified Operations Center (UOC), for integration across the facility’s infrastructure. This digitization effort enhances operational efficiency and sustainability by providing actionable insights for both energy recovery and modern recycling operations.
