In our presentation at the AVEVA World Conference, we will share the transformative journey of Arlanxeo Company in implementing a global AVEVA PI system across for 13 sites.  This ambitious project aimed to harmonize data foundation, enhance sustainability efforts, and replace legacy systems like Parkview and Aspentec with the advanced PI System.

The implementation of the global PI system was a strategic move to create synergies between production information across all sites.  This harmonization has been pivotal in improving energy consumption, reducing carbon emissions, and optimizing the use of resources such as steam. By leveraging the CONNECT data services, we have successfully migrated data to the cloud, making it accessible for advanced analysis in Databricks by our data scientists.  Furthermore, process engineers utilize TrendMiner to analyze this data, driving significant process improvements and sustainability gains.

Our presentation will cover the entire implementation process, from planning to execution, highlighting the challenges faced and solutions developed.  We will provide detailed insights into how harmonizing data has led to substantial improvements in energy efficiency and resource management.  Real-world examples and case studies will illustrate the tangible benefits achieved post-implementation, showcasing the positive impact on our sustainability goals.
