Achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 is an absolute imperative for GALP, but fluids with high CO2 concentrations pose a significant challenge in the Brazilian pre-salt production region. In order to mitigate the current impact and prepare to further reduce emissions in the future, the development of an integrated system for scenarios evaluation is a critical need. The scenarios evaluation system should define under which conditions CO2 could be separated from CO2-rich fluids and reinjection for storage (for instance: CCS - Carbon Capture and Storage).
