It will showcase how Event State Classification identifies inverter and turbine operating conditions, providing context for deviations between expected and actual generation. These calculations are used to quantify lost energy, support availability metrics, and automate monthly operations reporting. The session will conclude with an overview of how Southern Power leverages AVEVA Predictive Analytics to monitor substation health and identify emerging equipment issues before they impact reliability.
