Caroline Pim has served as Vice President Power Systems for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland since spring 2023. She leads strategic business development in energy networks, focusing on utilities, distribution network operators, and large infrastructure clients such as airports, hospitals, and industrial facilities requiring medium-voltage connections.
Caroline brings deep expertise in renewable energy to Schneider Electric. Prior to joining, she was Global Sales Director for Digital Inspection Solutions at Waygate Technologies, serving sectors like aerospace, energy, and manufacturing. During this time, she earned a Master of Science in Energy with a focus on renewables from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
Her earlier career includes 12 years in the wind energy sector, with leadership roles at GE Renewables and Senvion SE. These experiences have given her a clear understanding of the evolving demands on energy networks.
Caroline is passionate about shaping the “New Electric Future” in Central Europe: “To tackle the climate crisis, we must electrify heating, mobility, and industry—while integrating decentralized renewable sources. This requires digitally connected distribution networks. Through our Systems of the Future initiative, we’re driving electrification, digitalization, and sustainability across the DACH region.
