Shyam Sunder Sharma is GM (Electrical & Instrumentation) joined SRF Limited in year 1995 at Bhiwadi Plant. He is post graduate in Physics and Diploma in Instrumentation from ISA. He is a senior member of ISA- Delhi Section. Overall, he has more 30 years’ experience in detail Engineering, projects and maintenance for Chemical, Petrochemical and Power plants. He is actively involved in design of control systems (such as DCS, PLC), to develop philosophy for process control, implementation of HAZOP outcomes & energy management system, selection of field sensors / instruments and optimization of power uses. He has converted many manual processes to automatic which resulted ease of operation, improved safety, energy saving and quickly detection of abnormalities to take corrective action.

Before SRF Ltd, he was associated with ABB India Ltd. (formerly Taylor Inst) and Haryana Petrochemicals.

He is leading automation and IIOT projects in Bhiwadi plant. In line, the OSi PI system as a concept, commissioned which is being used for integration of all plant’s Process, Quality Lab Parameters, and electrical data to improve overall process capabilities in totality by devolving TQM tools & Models in systems.
