| Dave Girardot is currently the SME for Real Time Optimization (RTO) and Mass Balance Modelling (MBM). He has 37 years of experience with Shell, working in RTO throughout that time and with MBM for the past 15 years. From 1989 through 1993, Dave was based at Westhollow (STCH) in Houston, developing new RTO projects for ethylene crackers, crude units, and cat crackers. In 1994, he transferred to the Norco Manufacturing Complex in Louisiana as the site RTO specialist for the next 25 years. During that time, he took on some auxiliary broadening activities (Env monitoring, Mass Balance/Basic Data, etc.). In 2019, Dave transferred back to the central team as Principal Modelling & Optimization Engineer and SME for RTO and MBM. |
