Bernd is a Pharmaceutical Engineer with 26 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry. He held various roles during that time in R&D, development and clinical manufacturing. In Global Engineering & Technologies, he is responsible for all OSIsoft products at Roche worldwide. Furthermore he is working in the field of building automation systems. In his last position in clinical manufacturing he was responsible for the PI Plattform as well as for all Utilities (water, steam, gas, etc), Monitoring and Maintenance. He recently redesigned the entire maintenance concept as a project manager within the “Reduction Down Times” project and significantly reduced the down time for maintenance activities.
In his free time he spends time with family and friends with cooking, travelling and sports.
